Friends 10 Years Later: See Rachel's Baby Daughter Emma All Grown Up!

Publish date: 2024-05-08

If you’re like Us, 2015 has been all about binge-watching the newly released complete series of Friends on Netflix (Chanandler Bong, anyone?). So when the twin actresses who play Ross and Rachel’s baby daughter Emma on the iconic sitcom resurfaced on Reddit, we ran around with more excitement than a turkey-wearing Joey on Thanksgiving.

Sisters Cali and Noelle Sheldon shared the role, and have gone on to appear together in a series of indie shorts. Now 12 years old, their careers didn’t exactly mirror that of fellow twin child stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who had their own shows, clothing line, and much more after playing Michelle Tanner on Full House, but they’re still involved in show business.

In the 10 seasons of Friends that spanned from 1994 to 2004, baby Emma didn’t get much screen time. As the daughter of Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Emma was born in the season 8 finale, “The One Where Rachel Has a Baby, Part 2.”

Emma’s most memorable moment, apart from her birth, is the one where she won’t stop crying unless Rachel sings Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.”
