Jon Cryer Is Duckie Again for Pretty in Pink Dance With Corden
It’s been nearly 30 years, but Jon Cryer had no trouble stepping back into his white winklepickers on James Corden‘s Late Late Show on Tuesday, April 14, to reprise his Pretty in Pink role as Duckie for an amazing remake of the record store dance routine.
The 49-year-old actor joined the British show host for a fabulous trip down memory lane, and proved he hadn’t lost any of his moves as he whizzed around the record store set and sashayed into the audience for the lip sync sequence to Otis Redding‘s “Try a Little Tenderness.”

Wearing an almost identical outfit to the one he wore for the original rom-com movie scene with Molly Ringwald, Cryer barely appeared a decade older, let alone three, as he donned a wig and strutted his stuff around the set, to the whoops and cheers of the audience.
Sharing the clip via Twitter later in the evening, show host Corden tweeted that he’d “fulfilled a childhood dream” with the amazing, step-back-in-time dance routine.
