Lauren Graham Reenacts Gilmore Girls Scene With Andy Cohen: Video

Finally, the Gilmore Girls reunion no one has been waiting for! Lauren Graham appeared on Watch What Happens Live! on Wednesday, June 17, where the conversation naturally turned to her role as Lorelai Gilmore on the beloved series. 

With so much buzz surrounding a potential reunion for the Stars Hollow gang, host Andy Cohen decided to create a reenactment of a scene from Season 1, in which Lorelai confronts Rory (Alexis Bledel) for staying out all night with Dean (Jared Padalecki). 

Cohen, 47, sporting a wig and shawl, played an angsty Rory, while Graham, 48, read her lines as if they were filmed yesterday. 

Though she remained a die-hard advocate of the show that brought her such recognition, Graham admitted that some of the story lines were far-fetched. 

“There was also an episode where Kirk jumps into a giant pizza. That’s one where I remember thinking ‘huh?’” she joked, referencing the episode where Rory tries to create the world’s largest pizza for Lorelai’s birthday. “But that show was so whimsical you could kind of get away with it.” 

And the longtime Real Housewives fan also jokingly noted that Lorelai’s Housewives tagline would be, “I’m a fast talker, but my heart moves at a snail’s pace.”

Things took a turn for the naughty when a fan called in asking which of Rory’s boyfriends would Graham hook up with in real life.

“Wow, oh, ummm Milo?” she responded, referencing actor Milo Ventimiglia, 37, (Jess Mariano), who also dated Bledel, 33, in real life. “I’m a brunette person.” 

And when asked if she was still dating her Parenthood costar Peter Krause, Graham simply responded with a, “Yeah!,” and a thumbs-up.
