July 30, 1963About
Despite her reputation as the ditziest member of the Friends cast, Lisa Kudrow, a California native, received her Bachelor’s degree in biology from Vassar College.
While there, she was also a member of the comedy troupe Groundlings, known for launching the careers of Kathy Griffin and Will Ferrell, among others. Kudrow is also arguably the most prolific (and critically successful) of the Friends, appearing in movies such as The Opposite of Sex, Analyze This and Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. Kudrow has been nominated for six Emmys for her roles in Friends and HBO’s cancelled series The Comeback.
Kudrow has been married to French ad executive Michel Stern since 1995, and they have one son.
