Born in February 1992, Michigan native Taylor Lautner is best known as Jacob Black in the Twilight film franchise, based on the wildly popular vampire novels by Stephenie Meyer.

Lautner moved to Los Angeles at a young age to pursue a career in acting and booked roles on television shows such as My Wife and Kids, Summerland and The Bernie Mac Show. He has also appeared in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl.

The actor hit it big in 2008 when he joined Twilight alongside Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. He reprised his role in the additional four movies in The Twilight Saga.

Lautner went on to also star in Abduction, Valentine’s Day, Home Team and more. He also landed a recurring role on Ryan Murphy’s anthology series Scream Queens.
